Non-executive director appointment to Ofgem

John Crackett has been appointed as a non-executive director to Ofgem.

This was published under the 2016 to 2019 May Conservative government

This appointment takes effect from 1 December 2018 and lasts for 5 years.

Ofgem protects the interests of existing and future electricity and gas consumers, promoting value for money, security of supply and sustainability.

Biography

John Crackett was a non-executive board member of the UK Office for Nuclear Regulation between 2011 and 2017. Before this he was Managing Director of Central Networks – the UK’s second-largest distributor of electricity - and also an E.ON UK Board member responsible for Safety, Health and Environment.
