Opening of the new Health City Cayman Islands
HE the Governor addresses Grand Opening of Health City Cayman Islands.
On 25 February HE the Governor attended the Grand Opening of Health City Cayman Islands. This state of the art medical facility brings high quality, low cost tertiary medical care not currently provided in the Cayman Islands. When fully operational HCCI will see approximately 60 patients a day in 2014. This is anticipated to increase to 350 patients by 2017, 750 patients by 2021 and 1,000 patients in 2025.
HCCI is an excellent example of partnership working between the private and public sectors and is a real symbol of confidence in the future of the Cayman Islands. HCCI is a long-term vision to bring enhanced medical care and health related services to people living in the Cayman Islands, the Caribbean region and the Americas.
