Overnight closures for A160 resurfacing and gully work
Work to improve the road surface and drainage along the A160 in South Killingholme, North Lincolnshire will begin next week.
The Highways Agency will be carrying out resurfacing work between Eastfield and Habrough, and will undertake gully repairs between Brockesby and Ulceby.
Work will take place from 29 September until 8 October, overnight between 8pm and 6am. During the work it will be necessary to fully close the A160 between Eastfield road and Habrough roundabout. There will also be traffic signals in operation between Ulceby and Brockelsby.
Highways Agency project manager, John Howard, said:
This resurfacing and gully work has been planned overnight to minimise disruption and to take place when traffic flows are at their lowest. Drivers are asked to plan their journeys and to follow the signed diversions.
During the closures drivers travelling west on the A160 will be diverted at Manby roundabout onto the A1173 (Manby road). Traffic will then continue on the A1173 to the roundabout with Kiln Lane and take the third exit remaining on the A1173. Traffic will continue on the A1173 to the junction with the A180 and take the second exit onto the A180 westbound. Traffic will continue on the A180 to the junction with the A160 and take the exit slip road on to the A160. Eastbound traffic will follow the same diversion in reverse.
