Overnight closures of A500 at Stoke-on-Trent for resurfacing
The Highways Agency will carry out overnight resurfacing on the A500 at Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent from Friday 17 October.
The southbound carriageway between the Etruria southbound exit slip road and the A500/B5045 Shelton New Road southbound entry slip road will be closed from 9pm to 5.30am each night, until the morning of Saturday, 25 October.
The southbound entry slip road at Etruria will also be closed.
Highways Agency Project Manager Purnima Kaul said:
“This work is necessary to maintain a safe and structurally sound surface, which will also provide improved skid resistance. We adviser road users to allow extra time for their journeys during the closures.”
Traffic will be diverted via the A53 and A50.
