Overnight resurfacing on A49 between Ashford Bowdler and Woofferton, Shropshire
Overnight resurfacing work is to be carried out on the A49 between Ashford Bowdler and Woofferton from Monday (13 October).
The road will be closed in both directions between its junctions with the B4362 and Wheatcommon Lane for three nights from 8pm to 6am.
Traffic will be diverted via the A4117 and A456 or vice versa.
Highways Agency project manager Purnima Kaul said:
Carrying out this work will provide road users with a smoother, safer driving surface. We will also take the opportunity to renew road markings, studs and high friction surfacing. We advise people to allow extra time for their journeys.
