Highways Agency to carry out overnight resurfacing on M42 southbound entry slip road at junction 6 from Monday 2 June
The Highways Agency is to carry out overnight resurfacing on the M42 southbound entry slip road at junction 6 near the NEC, Birmingham, from Monday 2 June.
To protect the workforce and travelling public the slip road will be closed as will the outside lane of the junction 6 roundabout, the exit arm from the nearby motorcycle museum and lanes one and two of the main southbound M42.
The work will be carried out on weeknights only for two weeks, from 9pm to 6am.
Traffic will be diverted on to the northbound M42 to junction 9 where it can turn around and join the southbound carriageway.
Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
