PBBC Conference on Trade and Investment in Palestine

The Palestine Britain Business Council was scheduled to hold a conference on Trade and Investment in Palestine on 20 March in London.

The Palestinian Britain Business Council Conference on Trade and Investment in Palestine has been cancelled for the time being.

The Palestine Britain Business Council (PBBC), in close cooperation with the British Consulate General in Jerusalem, UK Trade and Investment, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department for International Development and the Office of the Quartet Representative in Jerusalem, was scheduled to host the PBBC’s Conference on Trade and Investment in Palestine. The conference was to be held on 20 March 2014 at the Arab British Chamber of Commerce. However the conference has been cancelled for the time being.

Rt. Hon. Mr. Alan Duncan, Minister of State for International Development, Baroness Morris, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to the Palestinian Territories and H.E. Dr. Mohamad Mustafa, Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister for Economy were scheduled to address the conference.

It was also to include sessions on agriculture, tourism and ICT, as well as other business sectors. Delegates were to be provided the opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges within the Palestinian market and also have the opportunity to meet one-to one to discuss potential trade and investment projects. Follow-up activities to the PBBC’s ongoing work was scheduled to be covered at the conclusion of the conference.
