Planned road-works in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 24 October - Sunday 30 October 2016
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 Junction 1 to Junction 2: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol CC works)
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions in operation northbound and southbound until the end of November 2016.
M32 Junction 2 to Junction 3: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol CC works)
Northbound and Southbound will be closed from 9pm 24 October until 6am 29 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Gloucestershire
M5 Junction 14 to Junction 12: Bridge Maintenance
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until June 2017.
M5 Junction 10 to Junction 11A: Structures
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions in operation northbound and southbound until January 2017.
M5 Junction 13: Traffic Management changes
Northbound and Southbound Exit Slip roads and Entry Slip roads will be closed nightly from 9pm 24 October until 6am 28 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A40 Elmbridge Court Roundabout: Construction works
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place on Elmbridge Court Roundabout until February 2018
Wiltshire

North Somerset
M5 Junction 19: Drainage
Northbound Entry Slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm 24 October until 6am 28 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Somerset
M5 Junction 26 to Junction 25: Surfacing
Northbound Carriageway will be closed from 8pm 25 October until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A303 South Petherton to Southfields: Bridge Works
Lane closure with overnight Traffic Lights (Monday to Saturday only) from 9pm until 6am from 14 September until 1 November.
A303 Ilchester to Podimore: White Lining
Eastbound Carriageway will be closed nightly from 9pm 24 October until 6am 26 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A303 Podimore to Ilchester: White Lining
Westbound Carriageway will be closed nightly from 9pm 26 October until 6am 29 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
South Gloucestershire

West Dorset
No planned works.
Devon
M5 Junction 30: Resurfacing
Northbound carriageway between Exit Slip road and Entry Slip road will be closed from 8pm 27 October until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 30 to Junction 29: Resurfacing
Northbound carriageway will be closed from 10pm 28 October until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
