Planned road works in West Midlands: Weekly summary for
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 27 February 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A45 exit slip road to M42 Jct 6, West Midlands. carriageway works
The westbound exit slip road will be closed from 2 March to 4 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45/A46 Tollbar improvement scheme, Coventry
Major improvement work continues. Lane closures are in place on a variety of routes but there are no full closures planned for this week.
A5 Churchbridge Roundabout: carriageway works
The roundabout, eastbound will be closed from 2 March to 6 March between 9.30pm and 5.30am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Preston Boats Island, Shropshire: carriageway works
The east and westbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 6 March between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Emstrey Island, Shropshire: carriageway works
The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 6 March 2015 between 7.30pm and 7am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Muckley Corner to Wall Island, Shropshire: carriageway works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 5 March 2015 between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted. . ####A50 Meir Tunnel: carriageway works
The east and westbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 7 March 2015 between 8pm and 5.30am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 – from M6 Jct 16: carriageway works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 8 March 2015 between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 – from M6 Jct 16 to A5020: carriageway works
The westbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 7 March 2015 between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 – A34 Talke to M6 Jct 16: carriageway works

There will be a full 24 hour closure on the westbound entry slip road from 2 March to 8 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M50 Junction 2 to 4, Tewkesbury, Worcestershire: carriageway works
The east and westbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 8 March from 8pm to 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M50 Junction 1 to 2, Tewkesbury, Worcestershire: carriageway works
There will be a full 24 hour closure on the east and westbound carriageway from 6 March to 8 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M50 Junction 1 to 2, Tewkesbury, Worcestershire: carriageway works
The east and westbound carriageway will be closed from 7 March to 8 March between 9pm and 7am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 Junction 5 Telford – Junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin: resurfacing
The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 2 March to 6 March between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted. During the day the westbound hard shoulder will be closed and hard shoulder running in operation on the eastbound carriageway.
M54 Junction 4, Shifnal, Telford and Wrekin: carriageway works
The westbound exit slip road will be closed on 2 March between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands: carriageway works
There will be a full 24 hour closure of the eastbound link road from 2 March to 8 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M6 Junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound entry slip road will be closed for 24 hours from 2 March to 8 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M6 Junction 7 to 10, West Midlands: carriageway works
The northbound carriageway including the link from the M5 north will be closed from 2 March to 8 March between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M6 Junction 5, West Midlands: carriageway works
The southbound entry slip road will be closed for 24 hours from 2 March to 8 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
M6 Junction 8 to 9, West Midlands: carriageway works
The northbound carriageway will be closed from 2 March to 6 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted
