Planned road works in West Midlands: weekly summary for Monday 13 June to Sunday 19 June 2016
Planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week.
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 10 June 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A45 – Stonebridge Highway eastbound: carriageway works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 11 June until the morning of 13 June and again on 19 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 – Coventry eastern bypass southbound: carriageway reconstruction
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 16 June until 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 – Coventry bypass northbound: carriageway reconstruction
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 16 June until 17 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45 – London Road eastbound: carriageway reconstruction
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 17 June to 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 – Church bridge Island to Parade junction: footway widening scheme
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 8am from 13 June until 19 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A50 – Meir Tunnel: carriageway repairs
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 5.30am from 13 June until 19 June. Please note the carriageway will be closed in one direction each night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 – junction 10 entry slip road: carriageway resurfacing
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 13 June until 15 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 – junction 9 entry slip road: carriageway resurfacing
The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 13 June until 17 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 – junction 3 exit slip road: drainage repairs
The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 13 June until 17 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 – junction 3 to junction 4: electrical works
The Northbound Carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 14th June until 5am the following morning (15th June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 – junction 4a to 5 southbound carriageway: major scheme works
The southbound carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 June until 18 June. Please note the carriageway will be closed in one direction each night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 – junction 4a to 5 northbound carriageway: major scheme works
The northbound carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 June until 17 June. Please note the carriageway will be closed in one direction each night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 – junction 15 entry slip road: safety barrier installation
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 June until 18 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 – junction 7 entry slip road: sound board repairs
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night form 8pm 14 June until 5am the following morning (15 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 – junction 7 to M5 link road: sound board repairs
The northbound link road will be closed overnight for one night form 8pm 14 June until 5am the following morning (15 June). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 – junction 10 slip roads: carriageway surveys
The slip roads will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 13 June until 19 June. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
