Planned road works in West Midlands: Weekly summary for Monday 16 March – 22 March 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 13 March 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M42 Junction 6, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The southbound entry slip will be closed from 22 March to 28 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted

M5 Junction 4 Lydiate Ash, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 16 March to 31 May between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 7 Worcester South - Junction 8 Strensham, Worcestershire, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The southbound carriageway will be closed from 16 March to 24 March between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 Junction 1, Tewkesbury, Worcestershire. Carriageway work

There will be a full 24hour closure on the westbound entry slip from 16 March to 21 March. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 Junction 2 Ledbury - Junction 4 Ross on Wye, Herefordshire. Carriageway work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 16 March to 27 March from 8pm to 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50 Junction 1 Tewkesbury – M5 Junction 8 Strensham, Worcestershire. Carriageway work

The westbound carriageway will be closed from 15 March to 16 March from 8pm to 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M54 Junction 5 Telford - Junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin. Carriageway work

The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 16 March to 13 May between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands. Carriageway work

There will be a full 24hour closure of the eastbound link road from 16 March to 30 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands. Carriageway work

There will be a full 24hour closure of the southbound entry slip from 16 March to 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 7 Great Barr – Junction 10 Walsall, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The northbound carriageway including link from M5 north will be closed from 16 March to 30 March between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 16 Crewe, Staffordshire. Carriageway work

The southbound entry slip will be closed from 16 March to 18 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 16 Crewe, Staffordshire. Carriageway work

The northbound exit slip will be closed from 16 March to 18 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 12 Cannock – Junction 13 Acton Trussell, Staffordshire – Junction 10A Walsall, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The northbound carriageway will be closed from 20 March to 22 March between 9:30pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 11 Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire. Carriageway work

The northbound entry slip will be closed from 22 March to 23 March between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 3 Nuneaton, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The southbound entry slip will be closed from 16 March to 22 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 1 Rugby - Junction 2 Coventry, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The northbound carriageway will be closed from 17 March to 31 March between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M6 Junction 2 Coventry - M69 Junction 1, West Midlands. Carriageway work

The northbound carriageway will be closed from 19 March to 22 March between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
