The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 2 October but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M4 between junction 19 to 20: bridge repairs

Narrow lanes will be in place eastbound and westbound during the day with single lane running nightly from 9pm on 2 September until mid-November.

A4 Crowley Way: resurfacing

Northbound carriageway will be closed nightly from 8pm 5 October until 6am 7 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A4 Crowley Way: resurfacing

Southbound carriageway will be closed nightly from 8pm 7 October until 6am 10 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 10: bridge repairs

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2015.

A40 between Over roundabout and Longford roundabout: communications

Full carriageway closure will take place overnight from 8pm 8 October until 6am 10 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Wiltshire

A36 Trowbridge roundabout: resurfacing

Full carriageway closure with convoy working will be in operation nightly from 8pm on 5 October until 6am on 9 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

A36 Knook: utility works

24/7 temporary traffic signals will be in operation from 9am on 5 October until 22 October.

A36 Deptford to Codford: resurfacing

Full carriageway closure will take place nightly from 8pm on 10 October until 6am on 12 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

North Somerset

A303 Prophets Lane: survey works

Eastbound off slip junction with A356 will be closed nightly from 8pm on 6 October until 6am 13 October. Diversions will be clearly signposted.

BANES

No planned works

West Dorset

No planned works.

Devon (M5 only)

M5 junction 28: improvements scheme

Various closures on the southbound slip roads until November 2015.
