Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: weekly summary for Monday 13 July to Sunday 19 July 2015
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
No planned closures
Gloucestershire
M5 Junction 10: bridge repairs
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2015.
A40 Walham Viaduct: structure improvements
Traffic tidal flows in operation. Traffic will be closed for eastbound traffic from midnight until 6am. Traffic will be closed for westbound traffic from 6am until midnight until late August 2015.
Wiltshire
M4 junction 16: drainage
Narrow lanes on the westbound in operation until mid July 2015.
M4 junction 16: removal of narrow lanes for drainage works
Full westbound exit and entry slips will be closed nightly from 8pm Friday 17 July until 6am Monday 20 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
North Somerset
M5 junction 19: maintenance
Full northbound entry slip will be closed nightly from 9pm Sunday 12 July until 6am Tuesday 14th July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 18: maintenance
Full southbound entry slip will be closed nightly from 9pm Tuesday 14 July until 5.30 am Friday 17 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Somerset
A303 Ilchester: resurfacing
Full westbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Friday 17 July until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
BANES
No planned works.
West Dorset
No planned works.
Devon (M5 only)
M5 junction 28: improvement scheme
Various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.
A303 Countess Roundabout to Parkhouse: resurfacing
Full eastbound carriageway closure including the eastbound entry slip at Solstice Park nightly from 8pm Monday 13 July until 6am Friday 17 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
