Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: weekly summary for Monday 15 June to Sunday 21 June 2015

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M48 Severn Bridge: bridge repairs

Full westbound carriageway closure 24/7 from 6am Saturday 20 June until 6pm Sunday 21 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Gloucestershire

M5 Junction 10: bridge repairs

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound carriageway until October 2015.

M5 Junction 13: resurfacing

Full southbound exit slip will be closed nightly from 8pm Monday 15 June until 6am the Thursday 18 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 13: resurfacing

Full southbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Thursday 18 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 Junction 11: resurfacing

Full northbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Tuesday 16 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

A40 Walham Viaduct: structure Improvements

Full carriageway closure eastbound and westbound nightly from 8pm Sunday 21 June until 6am Thursday 25 June. Temporary traffic signals in operation with tidal flows. Traffic will be closed for eastbound traffic from midnight until 6am. Traffic will be closed for westbound traffic from 6am until midnight until late August 2015.

Wiltshire

M4 Junction 16: drainage

Narrow lanes on the westbound in operation until mid July 2015.

North Somerset

M5 Junction 20: resurfacing

Northbound entry slip will be closed nightly from 8pm Monday 8 June until Wednesday 10 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Somerset

A303 Ilchester: resurfacing

Westbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Friday 19 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

BANES

A36 between Claverton and Dundas Aqueduct: barrier and embankment stabilisation

Both northbound and southbound carriageways of the A36 will remain closed until early July 2015. Diversions are clearly signposted.

West Dorset

No planned works.

Devon (M5 only)

M5 Junction 28: improvements scheme

Various closures on the southbound exit slip road until August 2015.

M5 Junction 28: survey works

Northbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Thursday 18 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Southbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm Friday 19 June until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
