The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M4 junction 20: communications
Full closure of M4 westbound link to M5 southbound and M4 westbound link to M5 northbound link from 9pm Wednesday 22 July until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Gloucestershire
M5 junction 10: bridge repairs
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2015.
A4 Walham Viaduct: structure improvements
Traffic tidal flows in operation. Traffic will be closed for eastbound traffic from midnight until 6am. Traffic will be closed for westbound traffic from 6am until midnight until late August 2015.
A40 between Over Roundabout to Longford Roundabout: resurfacing
Full carriageway closure nightly from 8pm Friday 24 July until 6am Tuesday 28 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 13: resurfacing
Full southbound exit slip will be closed from 8pm Thursday 23 July until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
