The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 junction 1 to 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September.
M48 Severn Bridge: cable work
Lane one will be closed eastbound and westbound until mid-September.
M48 Severn Bridge: cable work
Eastbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 1 July until 6am on 4 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M4 junction 21 to 20: maintenance
Eastbound carriageway will be closed from 9pm on 1 July until 6am on 2 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted. Gloucestershire
M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until February 2017.
M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.
A40 Forest Gate to Church Lane, Huntley: signal maintenance
Full carriageway closure will take place nightly from 8pm on 27 June until 6am on 1 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
North Somerset
M5 junction 20: maintenance
Northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 28 June until 6am on 29 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
BANES
A36 between Hantone Hill and Beckington roundabout: resurfacing
Full carriageway closure will take place nightly (Monday to Friday only) from 8pm on 27 June until 6am on 16 July. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
