Planned roadworks in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, BANES, Wiltshire, West Dorset and Devon: Weekly summary for Monday 27 October – Sunday 2 November 2014
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol
M4/M5 Almondsbury Interchange: Communications
The M5 southbound link to M4 eastbound, M4 eastbound link to M5 northbound, M4 eastbound link to M5 southbound link will be closed from 8pm Thursday 30 October until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 16 /15: Communications
The southbound exit at Junction 16 and the southbound entry link at Junction 15 will be closed from 9pm on Monday 27 October until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M48 Severn Bridge: Maintenance
Full eastbound closure between exit and entry slip roads at Junction 2 will take place daily from 9.30am until 5pm from Tuesday 28 October until Thursday 30 October. Diversion will be off and back on.
Gloucestershire
M5 Junction 11a – Junction 12: Bridge repairs
Narrow lanes with a width restriction of 5 metres, contraflows and speed restrictions will be in place during the day and occasional slip road and full carriageway closures will take place overnight. Work is expected to continue until June 2015.
M5 Junction 11 – 10: Bridge repairs
Narrow lanes and 50 mph speed restrictions will be in place until May 2015.
M5 Junction 10: Bridge Repairs
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restriction on the southbound carriageway will be in place until October 2015.
M5 Junction 12: Maintenance
The northbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on Wednesday 22 October until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
Wiltshire
M4 Junction 15 – 16: Geotechnical repairs
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the westbound carriageway until early December 2014.
M4 Junction 15: Communications
Full closure of westbound entry slip road will be in place from 10pm Tuesday 28 October until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A36 Upton Lovell: Improvements
24 hour temporary traffic signals in operation to carry out improvements until end December 2014.
Full carriageway closure will take place nightly from 8pm until 6am from Tuesday 28 October until Thursday 30 October. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
North Somerset
M5 between Junction 21 – 22: Barrier Works
Preparatory work will take place from Monday 27 October until early November with various lane closures. Narrow lanes will be in operation northbound and southbound from early November until late December 2014. Somerset
M5 between Junction 23 – 24: Structures
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place northbound and southbound until mid December as phase 1 of works.
A303 Wincanton to Sparkford: Resurfacing
The westbound carriageway, slip road and layby will be closed from 8pm until 6am from Wednesday 15 October until Friday 7 November. Lane closures will be in place between 6am and 9pm at the weekends and daytime in the week. The diversion route will be clearly signposted.
BANES

West Dorset
No planned works.
Devon (M5 only)
M5 northbound and southbound Junction 30 – 31: Structural works
Narrow lanes will be removed but single lane running will take place overnight until early November 2014
