The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 junction 1 to junction 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until 16 December.
M32 junction 2 to junction 3: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-March 2017.
Gloucestershire
M5 junction 14 to junction 12: bridge maintenance
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until June 2017.
M5 junction 10 to junction 11A: structures
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until January 2017.
M5 junction 11A: resurfacing
Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 28 November until 6am on 29 November. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 29 November until 6am on 30 November. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A40 Elmbridge Court Roundabout: construction work
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place until February 2018.
Wiltshire
M4 junction 16: traffic management installation
Eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 28 November until 6am on 29 November. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M4 junction 16: roundabout reconstruction
Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place on the eastbound exit slip road from 6am on 28 November until October 2017.
M4 junction 17: loop cutting
Westbound carriageway between the exit and entry slip roads will be closed overnight from 8pm on 30 November until 6am on 1 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A36 Crockerton to Deptford: survey
Northbound and southbound carriageways will be closed overnight from 9pm on 30 November until 6am on 1 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
North Somerset
M5 junction 19: white lining
Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 27 November until 6am on 28 November. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 20: white lining
Northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 27 November until 6am on 28 November. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 21: resurfacing
Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 1 December until 6am on 2 December. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 26: survey
Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 1 December until 6am on 2 December. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
Somerset
M5 junction 22 to junction 23: barrier construction
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions and lane 3 closure will be in operation northbound and southbound until 22 December.
Devon
M5 junction 30: white lining
Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 28 November until 6am on 29 November. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 29: white lining
Southbound entry slip will be closed overnight from 8pm on 29 November until 6am on 1 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 28: resurfacing
Northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 1 December until 6am on 2 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
