The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

Bristol

M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol City Council work)

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.

M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol CC work)

Full southbound closure will take place from 9pm on 2 June until 6am on 3 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M48 Severn Bridge: cable work

Lane one will be closed westbound until early September.

M48 Severn Bridge: maintenance

Eastbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on 2 June until 6am on 3 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 18a: maintenance

Northbound entry slip road to M5 and M49 will be closed from 8pm on 3 June until 6am on 4 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M48 junction 1: Third party work (South Gloucestershire Council)

Single lane closures will be in place on the eastbound and westbound exit slip roads from 31 May until 6 June.

Gloucestershire

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageways until February 2017.

M5 junction 12 to 13: bridge maintenance

Southbound carriageway will be closed from 10pm on 1 June until 6am on 2 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 13: bridge maintenance

Southbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 31 May until 6am on 1 June. Diversion will be clearly signposted.

M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November 2016.
