Planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week.

The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Bristol
M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus Scheme (Bristol City Council work)
Narrow lanes will be in place with 50mph speed restrictions in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.
M48 Severn Bridge: cable works
Lane one will be closed westbound until early September.
M4 junction 21 to 20: communications
The eastbound carriageway will be closed from 10pm on 4 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M4 junction 18 to 19: utility works (Western Power)
The full eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed from 10pm on 9 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 18: survey works
The southbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on Monday, 4 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 19: barrier renewals
The northbound entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm on 6 April until 6am on 8 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Narrow lanes will be in operation northbound from 6am on 7 April until early May 2016.
Gloucestershire
M5 junction 13 to 15: drainage works
Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway.
M5 junction 14: removal of traffic management for the above drainage works scheme
The southbound exit slip road will be closed nightly from 10pm on Saturday, 2 April until 6am on Tuesday, 5 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Various lane closures will be in place nightly from 8pm on 5 April until 6am on 8 April
M5 junction 13 to 14: removal of traffic management for the above drainage works scheme
The full southbound carriageway, including junction 14 on entry slip road, will be closed from 10pm on 9 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 16 to 13: removal of traffic management for the above drainage works scheme
The full northbound carriageway, including junction 14 entry slip road, and links from the M4 East and West at Almondsbury Interchange, will be closed from 10pm on Sunday, 10 April until 6am the following morning.
Diversions will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance
Narrow lanes will be in place with 50mph speed restrictions on the southbound and northbound carriageway until February 2017.
M5 junction 11: preparation works for bridge maintenance
The southbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 7 April until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
The southbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 8 April until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
The northbound exit and entry slip roads will be closed from 8pm on 5 April until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.
Somerset
M5 junction 23: surveys
The northbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 6 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 22: surveys
The northbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 8 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
A303 Hayes End to Cartgate: white lining
The carriageway will be closed from 9pm on 4 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 26: surveys
The northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 4 April until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
Devon
M5 junction 30: resurfacing
The northbound entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm on 4 April until 6am on 8 April. Diversion will be clearly signposted.
