Summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
Devon
A30 Alphington, Exeter: resurfacing
The westbound entry slip road will be closed between 8pm and 6am on 12/13 January. The diversion will be eastbound to Junction 31, southbound on A38 to Kennford then northbound to Junction 31 and westbound on A30.
A30 between Fingle Glen and Alphington, Exeter: resurfacing
Eastbound carriageway closure between 8pm and 6am on 13/14 January. Diversion will be via C50.
A30 between Alphington and M5 Junction 31, Exeter: resurfacing
The eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am between 14 and 16 January. The diversion will be via A377 and B3123. M5 traffic will then be diverted via A379 northbound to junction 30 anmd A38 traffic will diverted via A379 southbound to Wobbly Wheel junction.
A38 St Budeaux, Plymouth: resurfacing
Westbound entry slip road closure from 7pm until 6am for resurfacing between 11 and 16 January. The diversion will be via Weston Mill.
Cornwall
A30 between Treswithian and Loggans Moor, west of Redruth: resurfacing
Westbound carriageway closure 7pm to 6am for resurfacing on 13/14 January. Diversion will be via Connor Downs.
A38 between Island Shop, Liskeard and Trerulefoot: resurfacing
There will be an eastbound carriageway closure between 8pm and 6am from 7 to 15 January. The diversion will be via A390 to Callington and A388 to Carkeel. There will be a daytime eastbound lane closure.
A38 Between Trerulefoot and junction with B3352 Looe Road, south of Liskeard: resurfacing
There will be a westbound carriageway closure between 8pm and 6am, Monday to Friday from 15 to 27 January. The diversion will be via A374, A387 and B3352.
