Planned roadworks in West Midlands: Weekly summary for 20 – 26 April 2015
The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 17th April 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A38 Toyota Island, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The northbound exit slip will be closed from 21 April to 25 April between 8pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Longford Island to M6 Junction 12, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be closed from 19 April to 23 April between 8.30pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 – Between M42 Junction 10 and Birch Coppice, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed on 21 April between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A500 – Queensway Interchange, Stoke-on-Trent, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The eastbound and westbound carriageway will be closed from 20 April to 24 April between 10pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 From M5 to Junction 2 – West Midlands. Carriageway works
The northbound carriageway (including slips and link) will be closed from 20 April to 26 April between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 4 Lydiate Ash, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 20 April to 31 May between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 8 to 7, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The northbound carriageway will be closed on 25 April between 10pm and 5am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 4, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The northbound exit slip will be closed from 20 April to 25 April between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 Junction 4, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The southbound exit slip will be closed from 21 April to 24 April between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M50 Junction 2 to 3, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The westbound carriageway will be closed on 22 April between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

M50, from M5 Junction 8 to 2, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The westbound carriageway will be closed on 25 April between 8pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M54 Junction 5 Telford - Junction 3 Albrighton, Telford and Wrekin. Carriageway works
The carriageway will be closed in both directions from 20 April to 13 June between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 6 Gravelly Hill Interchange, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The eastbound link road remains closed 24 hours a day from 20 April to 30 May. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 9, Wednesbury, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The southbound entry slip remains closed 24 hours a day from 20 April to 30 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 1 to 2, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The northbound carriageway will be closed from 20 April to 22 April between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 14 to 13 West Midlands. Carriageway works
The southbound carriageway and entry slip will be closed on 26 April between 10pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 Junction 10 to 8, West Midlands. Carriageway works
The southbound carriageway and entry slip will be closed from 20 April to 22 April between 9pm and 6am. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
