The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 13 November 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A38 Swinfen to Toyota Island/Swinfen to Weeford: drainage surveys
The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A40 A449 to A49 junction/Ross: structure inspections
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 8pm on 17 November until 3.30am the following morning (18 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Walsgrave Island to Binley (TGI) Island: resurfacing works
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 16 November until 6am the following morning (17 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Binley (TGI) Island to Walsgrave Island: resurfacing works
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 16 November until 6am the following morning (17 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Bishopton to Shottery: carriageway repairs
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for one night from 10pm on 18 November until 5am the following morning (19 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 Dobbies to Emstrey: resurfacing works
The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 16 November until 6am the following morning (17 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A50 A520 junction/Meir entry slip road: carriageway works
The westbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

A500 slip roads between Alsager to Dunstall: coring and Deflectograph works
The eastbound and westbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 5 exit slip road: safety fence repairs
The southbound exit slip roads will be closed overnight for 2 nights between 8pm and 6am from 16 November until 18 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 southbound to M5 northbound link: parapet repairs
The southbound link to M5 northbound will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 16 November until 21 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 southbound to M6 northbound link: soft estate maintenance
The southbound carriageway to the M6 northbound link will be closed overnight for 2 nights between 10pm until 5am from 19 November until 21 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 junction 7 to junction 8: installation of traffic sensors
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 21 November until 6am the following morning (22 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 5 exit slip road: junction improvement works
The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 1 to 2: bridge expansion joint renewal
The carriageway will be closed in both directions including slip roads overnight between 9pm and 6am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 5 slip roads: mobilisation in advance of scheme
The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 8pm and 6am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 junction 6 slip roads: mobilisation in advance of scheme

M50 junction 2 to junction 4: removal of temporary barrier
The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night 8pm on 21 November until 6am the following morning (22 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M50 M5 junction 8 to M42 junction 2: removal of lane closure
The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night 8pm on 22 November until 6am the following morning (23 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 9 entry slip road/Western Arm south: re-waterproofing and structural repairs
There will be a full 24-hour southbound entry slip road closure from 14 September ongoing until 6am on 18 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 junction 15 to junction 14 including junction 14 entry slip road: carriageway resurfacing
The southbound carriageway and entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 16 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M6 M5 Western Arm from M6 junction 8: resurfacing works
The southbound link/Western Arm will be closed overnight for 2 nights between 9pm and 6am from 16 November until 18 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M69 junction 1 to M6 junction 2: resurfacing works
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight for between 9pm and 6am from 18 November until 22 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
