The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 30 June 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
A38 – Weeford exit slip road: carriageway work
The southbound exit slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm on 6 July until 6am the following morning (7 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38 (M) – M6 links from out of city A38 (M): carriageway work
The links from out of city A38(M) will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A38 (M) – Tyburn Road merge onto A38 (M): structural and carriageway work
The link roads from Tyburn Road to A38 (M) towards city Aston Expressway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Kenilworth Bypass: major improvement scheme
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Monday 4 July and Tuesday 5 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A46 Coventry Eastern Bypass: major improvement scheme
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday 6 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A45 Stonebridge Highway: major improvement scheme
The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Thursday 7 July. The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Friday 8 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 – Stapleton to Condover: carriageway resurfacing
The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 6.30am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 – Llandinabo to Wormlow, from Marsh Lane to Tump Lane: carriageway resurfacing The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 – Tump Lane slip road: CCTV work
The slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 6 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A49 – A49/A489 Grove junction to A49/B4370 Marshbrook junction: pavement renewal scheme
The carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 6 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
A5 – Holyhead Road to Wolfeshead roundabout: carriageway repairs
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 7pm and 7am from 4 July until 9 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 5 July to 8 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M42 – junction 3 exit slip road: survey work
The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 6 July until 5am the following morning (7 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.

The slip road leading to the A45 Westbound will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 9 July until 8am the following morning (10 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
M5 – junction 4a to junction 5: major scheme work
The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 4, 5, 8 and 9 July. The carriageway will be closed in both directions on 7 July. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.
M5 – junction 5 to junction 6: major scheme work
The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Tuesday 5 July. The northbound carriageway, including the M5 junction 5 northbound entry slip road, will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday 6 July.
M5 – junction 7 entry slip road: installation of narrow lanes
The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.
