The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of Friday 20 January and could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.

M1 junction 30 Barlborough

The northbound entry slip road at junction 30 will be closed overnight for two nights from Tuesday 24 January for survey works. The southbound exit and entry slip roads at junction 30 will be fully closed overnight on Friday 27 January. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 31 Aston

The southbound exit and entry slip roads at junction 31 will be closed overnight on Thursday 26 January for survey works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M1 junction 32 Thurcroft to junction 35a Stocksbridge

The hard shoulder is currently closed in both directions between junctions 32 and 34 as part of the smart motorway scheme. The northbound exit and entry slip roads at junction 31 will be closed overnight on Monday 23 January. The northbound exit slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight for three nights from Monday 25 January.

The northbound exit slip road at junction 35 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 24 January. The southbound carriageway at junction 34 will be closed between the slip roads overnight for two nights from Saturday 28 January.

The southbound carriageway at junction 33 will be closed between the slip roads overnight for two nights from Saturday 28 January. The southbound exit slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Friday 27 January. The southbound entry slip road at junction 33 will be closed overnight on Tuesday 24 January and then again for two nights from Thursday 26 January.

There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed limit until the project is completed. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 26 Bradford (M606 interchange)

The slip roads and roundabout will be reduced to a single lane overnight, between 7pm and 6am, from Monday 23 January for five nights. Drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M62 junction 25 to junction 26 Chain Bar

The westbound carriageway will be fully closed between the slip roads for technology works overnight on Sunday 29 January for technology works. The closures will take place between 9pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

M18 junction 3 St Catherine’s

The northbound exit slip road will be fully closed overnight from Monday 23 January for safety works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1M junction 37 to junction 38 Redhouse

The southbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Monday 23 January and then again for a further two nights on Saturday 28 January for bridge works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A1 Redhouse to Barnsdale Bar

The northbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight on Tuesday 24 January for barrier works. The closures will take place between 10pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.

A631 junction 34 Northern Roundabout

The roundabout and its approaches will be reduced to a single lane overnight for five nights from Monday 23 January for cabling works. The closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
