PM appoints new apprenticeships adviser

The Prime Minister has today confirmed that Nadhim Zahawi MP will be his new Adviser on Apprentices.

This was published under the 2015 to 2016 Cameron Conservative government

The government delivered 2.2 million apprenticeships in the last Parliament, helping make sure that more young people have the skills and expertise that employers demand. The government has now committed to creating 3 million more apprenticeships by 2020.

As the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Apprentices and Joint Chairman of the Apprenticeship Delivery Board, Nadhim Zahawi will help the government deliver on this commitment.

He is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur, who founded the polling company YouGov, and replaces Richard Harrington MP who was appointed Minister for Syrian Refugees.
