EU/Germany

Asked about PM remarks about working on EU reform with Germany, the PMS said the PM had given a recent interview on the matter. The PM would work closely with countries including Germany on EU reform.

Prince Charles’s letters

Asked about the letters sent between ministers and Prince Charles, the PMS said there was an important principle in keeping conversations between the government and the heir to the throne confidential.

Flood response

Asked about the government response to flooding, the PMS said the response was still underway. There were still pumping operations and reparations to infrastructure underway and they would continue for some time.

Asked what the PM thought of legal aid reforms being postponed, the PMS said there was a process in place leading to a reform the government wanted to see.
