Press briefing: afternoon 5 June 2013

The Prime Minister's Spokesperson (PMS) answered questions on women doctors, Latvia and lobbying.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Women doctors

Asked about comments made in the House by Health Minister Anna Soubry about women doctors, the PMS said that the minister had explained the point she was trying to make on the matter.

Latvia

Asked if the PM had any advice for the people of Latvia who were due to join the Eurozone, the PMS said that it was a matter for Latvia.

Lobbying

Questioned on reports that the government would be taken to the European Court for discriminating against the lobbying industry, the PMS said that the government was going to press ahead with legislation for lobbying by third parties.
