Privy Council appointment: Lord Malcolm

Lord Malcolm has been appointed to the Privy Council.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The Queen has been pleased to give her approval to the appointment of The Honourable Lord Malcolm as a member of Her Majesty’s most Honourable Privy Council.

Lord Malcolm

Lord Malcolm was admitted to the Scottish Bar in 1977 and appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1990. He was elected Vice Dean of the Faculty of Advocates in 1997 and Dean of the Faculty of Advocates in 2001. He was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Courts in 2007. Lord Malcolm was appointed to the Second Division of the Inner House of the Court of Session in July 2014.
