On Monday 15 June, the British Embassy celebrated the Queen’s Birthday at British Ambassador Edward Oakden’s residence.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Oakden said: “Tonight we celebrate the partnership between our two peoples… The UK stands firmly and immensely proudly alongside our partners in Jordan… We do this because your prosperity and resilience is Britain’s prosperity and resilience. We also do it because you are our friends, and because Britain stands by its friends.”
