The British Embassy in Romania will organise meetings with members of the Romanian communities in London and Manchester on 26 and 28 February respectively, to provide information and discuss about ‘Romanians in the UK: Post-Brexit challenges, opportunities and next steps.’

Officials from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Home Office and other British government departments will set out some of the issues that will affect Romanians who have made the UK their home, including access to health, pensions, benefits, the meaning of “settled status” and how citizens can apply. There will also be a chance to raise concerns and to ask questions.
London
The first meeting will be held at the Romanian Cultural Institute, 1 Belgrave Square, Knightsbridge, London SW1X 8PH, on Monday, 26 February, starting 6pm. Registration is open, and confirmation should be sent to RSVP.Bucharest@fco.gov.uk by Tuesday 20 February. Space is limited, so places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Manchester
The event in Manchester will be held at The Midland Hotel, Peter Street, Manchester M60 2DS, on Wednesday, 28 February, starting 6pm. Registration is open, and confirmation should be sent to RSVP.Bucharest@fco.gov.uk by Tuesday 20 February. Space is limited, so places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
The language of the events will be English.
