Secretary of State responds to Ulster Bank's PMI Survey

Northern Ireland Secretary of State welcomes record increase in new business in the NI ecomony

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

Rt Hon Theresa Villiers MP said:

Positive news for the NI economy this morning with the Ulster Bank’s PMI showing a record increase in new business with growth across all sectors. This survey provides confidence that there are good prospects for additional jobs and wages for the people of Northern Ireland, and is further evidence that our long term economic plan - that builds a stronger, more competitive economy and secures a better future for the UK - is working.
