Best of British engineering and motorsport excites crowds at Tokyo Motorcycle Show
The 41st Tokyo Motorcycle Show is being held from Friday 28 – Sunday 30 March at Tokyo Big Sight in Odaiba, Tokyo Bay.
Drawing large crowds over three days, the Tokyo Motorcycle Show is the place to be for industry players and motorcycle enthusiasts to get a closer glimpse of the latest models causing a stir in this competitive market.
The best of British engineering is on show from UK manufacturers such as Triumph Motorcycles, with this year’s Triumph booth including a special display by the ST600 D;Rex Racing Triumph team. The D;Rex team have been attracting interest as the only team currently racing British motorbikes in the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship, with their Triumph Daytona 675 sporting GREAT branding and flying the flag for British motorsport.
The UK motorcycle industry has a significant impact on the UK economy with net annual sales of over 5 billion GBP, generating added value of more than 2 billion GBP per year. The global motorcycle market continues to grow rapidly with motorcycles representing one of the most affordable forms of motorised transport amid rising fuel prices.
