St. David's Day in Moldova
The Deputy Head of Mission and a Welsh representing the British community in Moldova raise the Red Dragon at the British Embassy Chisinau.
Steve Young, a well-known Welsh representing the British community in Moldova, had the privilege to raise the Red Dragon at the British Embassy Chisinau, to mark St. David’s Day.
The Flag of Wales, also known as The Red Dragon, is the national flag of Wales and was officially recognised as such in 1959.
British Embassy Chisinau as a part of the FCO, represents the whole of the United Kingdom in Moldova, and the national day of Wales is a great opportunity to remind the Moldovans that multiple nationalities and diversity are the obvious similarities which characterize our countries.”
