The Committee hosted its seminar ‘Standards in Public Life – does trust matter?' on 26 March 2014.

An engaging debate followed the insightful and thought-provoking remarks of our guest speakers. Issues covered included the difference between the perception and reality of ethical standards, parliamentary expenses, the need for ethical and moral literacy, the role of women in public life and the compatibility of ethical training with political culture.
