Andrew Dunlop was reappointed by the Prime Minister as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Scotland Office.

Scotland Office Minister Andrew Dunlop said:

I am very pleased to be able to continue my work in the Scotland Office, working alongside Scottish Secretary David Mundell for the benefit of people in Scotland. We have a strong Prime Minister who is committed to securing the best deal for Scotland and the United Kingdom as we prepare to start negotiations to leave the EU.

Over the next year we need to show that Britain is still very much open for business. I look forward to yet more UK City Deals being established, and building better broadband connections to our rural areas. It is vital Scotland’s two governments work together for the benefit of people in Scotland.
