This year’s Remembrance Ceremony will be a significant occasion to mark the 100th anniversary since the end of the First World War. The British, Belgian, Canadian, French and German Embassies will conduct a joint ceremony on Sunday 11 November 2018, to remember those who gave their lives through war and conflict.

The ceremony will commence at 10:30am at Palace of Peace and Reconciliation on Tauelsizdik Avenue and will include the unveiling of a plaque to mark the occasion. The ceremony will conclude by 12:00pm.

Poppies should be worn with pride and are now available in the British Embassy’s main reception area. All donations are appreciated and will be forwarded to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal Fund.
