Chevening scholarship applications for 2016/2017 are now open

Chevening Scholarships are awarded to individuals with strong academic backgrounds who also have demonstrable leadership potential. The scholarship offers financial support to study for a Masters degree at any of the UK’s leading universities and the opportunity to become part of an influential global network of 44,000 alumni.

There are approximately 1,500 Chevening Awards on offer worldwide for the 2016/2017 academic cycle. These scholarships represent a significant investment from the UK Government to develop the next cohort of global leaders.

The scholarships offer full financial support to study a Master’s degree at a top university in the UK. As a Chevening scholar, you will have the opportunity to join a highly prestigious and influential global network with hundreds of other colleagues who have access to these scholarships worldwide.

The Chevening programme is looking to attract talented professionals, future leaders and decision makers in the public and private sectors of Paraguay.

This year, the priority areas for Chevening scholarships in Paraguay are:

• Economics • Energy • Engineering • Finance • International relations • Oil and gas • Public policy • Science and Innovation

A Chevening scholarship includes: a monthly stipend, a return flight to the United Kingdom from your country of origin (with an approved route), excess baggage, cost of dissertation or thesis, cost of a visa for the United Kingdom and university enrolment.

Applications will be open from 3rd August until 3rd November 2015.
