The British High Commissioner to Ghana designate Jon Benjamin meets with Ghana's President

The UK High Commissioner to Ghana designate, Jon Benjamin, met with the President of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama, at the inaugural London School of Economics (LSE) African Summit.

The UK High Commissioner to Ghana designate, Jon Benjamin, met with the President of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama, at the inaugural London School of Economics (LSE) African Summit that took place in London from the 4th – 5th April.

The LSE Africa Summit formed a part of a broader set of initiatives hosted by the Department of International Development. The two-day Summit, comprising a Business Conference (4th April 2014) and a Research Conference (5th April 2014), was aimed at creating a platform for Africans and non-Africans to capture, discuss and add value to the changes and opportunities that are emerging in Africa.

Jon Benjamin, who will assume his role as High Commissioner in May, and President Mahama spent time discussing issues of mutual interest between the UK and Ghana.
