The GREAT Britain Debate 2016-17

The GREAT Britain Debate in its fourth edition is a wonderful opportunity through which the British High Commission engages with the next generation of India’s future leaders. It celebrates the UK and India’s deep interest in the debating culture.

This year the competition is open in the following cities:

The GREAT Britain Debate 2016-17 will revolve around the following topics which are the priority areas for UK and India:

  • urban and smart cities
  • skills and education
  • science and research
  • media, art and culture
  • start up India and entrepreneurship
  • climate change and energy
  • women and girls

The GREAT Britain Debate is organised by the British High Commission in partnership with the Chevening scholarships in India.
