The Queen visits Saint Michael’s Enniskillen

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited Saint Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Enniskillen and met members of the local community.

Her Majesty The Queen accompanied by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh has visited Saint Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Enniskillen and met members of the local community.

Her Majesty was greeted by His Eminence Cardinal Sean Brady Roman Catholic Primate of all Ireland who went on to present the Lord Bishop of Clogher, The Most Reverend Dr Liam MacDaid and Very Reverend Canon Peter O’Reilly, parish priest.

Inside the French gothic revival style church that dates back to 1875, Her Majesty and HRH had the opportunity to meet around 100 guests.

School pupils and school management along with representatives from sport, farming, business, charities, waterways and fisheries, Scouts and Guides and the public sector, made up the guest list.
