Traffic bulletin: M26 closed overnight for resurfacing
Road users in Kent are advised that the westbound M26 from junction 2a to junction 5 of the M25 will be closed overnight from tonight (Monday 20 April) until Saturday 9 May for resurfacing work.
The work will take place on weeknights only between 10pm and 5.30am (Monday to Thursday) and between 11pm and 6am (Friday).
A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A25 and A20 to join the M25 at junction 3.
Drivers using this section of the M26 are advised to plan their journeys and allow some extra time to reach their destinations.
