Treasures of Heaven exhibition

This major exhibition at the British Museum brings together some of the finest sacred treasures of the medieval age for the first time.

The exhibition showcases over 150 objects drawn from more than 40 institutions including the Vatican, European church treasuries, museums from the USA and Europe and the British Museum’s own pre-eminent collection.

The public display opens on 23 June and runs until 9 October 2011 with a full events calendar including ‘meet the curator’ sessions, a range of talks, debates, performances, films and documentaries.
