Two Hondurans awarded 2024-2025 Chevening Scholarships

Two Hondurans will pursue fully funded master’s degree programmes in the United Kingdom after securing a Chevening scholarship.

Chevening is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations and offers awards to study in the UK for one year on a fully funded master’s degree course.

The awarded scholars of this year are Carlos Eduardo Núñez Cruz and María Fernanda Tróchez Zelaya.

Successful Chevening candidates come from a diverse range of countries and backgrounds, but they all demonstrate the passion, vision and skills needed to shape a better world.  During the scholarship, they will have exclusive networking opportunities, and the chance to explore the UK’s diverse culture.

Carlos Eduardo will study a MSc in Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London, and María Fernanda will pursue a MSc in Digital Marketing at King’s College London, University of London.

After completing their period of study in the UK, scholars and fellows return home and join our global network of over 55,000 alumni.

The Chevening programme is now open from 6 August to 5 November 2024. Find out more on how to apply here www.chevening.org/scholarship/honduras.
