Two Thai officials attend FCO’s International Leaders Programme in UK

Young Thai leaders from Energy Ministry are selected to join UK Government’s ILP for one week

Two Thai representatives from the Ministry of Energy have been chosen to attend the UK Government’s International Leaders Programme in UK on 8-13 March. They are Dr. Twarath Sutabutr – Deputy Permanent Secretary – and Mr. Sarat Prakobchat - Head of Technical and Efficiency Promotion, Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency.

The programme was launched in March 2013 by former Foreign Secretary William Hague. It is designed to forge links and enable the exchange of ideas with future leaders from around the world, and to offer them a unique insight into the UK. The group are drawn from a variety of countries and backgrounds (e.g. politics, government, the media, civil society, business). The Thai delegates will meet with another 13 other future leaders from Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, Chile, Mexico, the Philippines. They will stay in the UK for a period of one week.
