The British Embassy in Romania will organise two meetings with members of the British community in Bucharest and Cluj on 5 March and 6 March respectively, to provide information and discuss about ‘UK citizens in Romania: Post-Brexit challenges, opportunities and next steps.’

Staff from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Department for Exiting the European Union will set out some of the issues that will affect British citizens who have made Romania their home, including access to healthcare, pensions, and benefits. There will also be a chance to raise concerns and to ask questions.

The first meeting will be held at the Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel, Bucharest, starting 5.30pm. Registration is open, and confirmation should be sent to RSVP.Bucharest@fco.gov.uk by 27 February. Space is limited, therefore places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

The language of the events will be English.
