UK condemns North Korea's ballistic missile launch

The UK calls on North Korea to comply with UN Security Council resolutions and stop further provocations.

The Minister for Asia and the Pacific, Alok Sharma, said:

These ballistic missile launches underline the continuing threat to regional and international security from North Korea. The UK strongly condemns these events and we call on North Korea to comply with UN Security Council resolutions and stop further provocations. The UK is working closely with our regional partners, including Japan and the Republic of Korea, to agree a collective and robust response.
