It’s a great example of the UK and India’s living bridge, sharing the best of what our two countries have to offer.

The British High Commission celebrated the launch of this year’s programme by holding an event with Chevening Alumni focused on the theme of ‘Chevening for Gender Equality’.

Chief Guest, Kumari Selja – Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) said:

It is very heartening to see brave women come out, speak up and be counted. All stakeholders must make a cohesive effort to build a society that holds gender equality as its unequivocal and abiding principle.
