UK-Oman joint working group

Hugh Robertson, Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, visited Oman for the sixth meeting of the UK-Oman Joint Working Group on 3 April. He was hosted by His Excellency Sayyed Badr Bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Secretary General of the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr Robertson and HE Sayyed Badr discussed the excellent bilateral relationship the UK and Oman share across a broad range of issues. In their meeting, they focused in particular on cooperation in culture, education and economic affairs and exchanged views on regional and international developments.
