UK’s new Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Chiang Mai

The new visa application centre, run by our commercial partners VFS, will make it quicker and easier for customers in Northern Thailand to apply for their UK visas.

Customers can pay extra for a number of premium services offered at the VAC including the 5 day Priority Visa service, Premium Lounge as well as additional services provided by VFS such as ‘’walk in’’ appointments.

Paul Bute, Chargé d’Affaires at the British Embassy said:

This new visa application centre will make it more convenient for our customers in Northern Thailand to apply for their UK visa.

VFS Global successfully manage UK visa application centres all over the world, and we expect that through having this dedicated facility we will welcome more visitors from Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand to the UK.

The new visa application centre is located at:

Siripanich Building, floor 6 B
191 Huaykaew Rd
Suthep
Muang
Chiang Mai 50200

There will be no changes to the visa process for customers, who will continue to apply for their visa and book their visa appointment via https://www.gov.uk/apply-uk-visa. However there will be an extra charge to use this user-pay VAC which is £55 on top of the cost of the visa.
